Panettiere, AFP/Getty Images; Nyongo & Adams, WireImage; Blanchett, Getty ImagesOK, yeah, we're giggling at every single one of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's quips right now. Maybe celebrating Bryan Cranston's and Breaking Bad's wins. But we also can't stop buzzing about what just went down on the carpet.
In short, what'd we take away? Wet hair, (roughly 50 shades of) red, boobs and some seriously sexy back. Our thoughts, below.

Hayden Panettiere rocked the modern look with her geometric black-and-white Tom Ford gown along with Mila Kunis, Emma Roberts, Jessica Chastain, Zoe Saldana and Elisabeth Moss. (Yay for her win, BTW.) Yes it's severe and yes it's different, but whether you love it or hate it -- definitely can't say it's boring, right? 2. Our eyes are still burning from all that red -- and we mean the dresses, the lips and, of course, the carpet. With stars like Julia Louis Dreyfus, Julie Delpy and Taylor Swift all rocking ruby shades, it was Lupita Nyongo who we think "won" the carpet with her Globes look. The 12 Years a Slave star looked uh-freaking-mazing in a futuristic-yet-elegant Ralph Lauren gown-and-cape style. We dig that her dress was super tight-fitting, but not too tight, you know? And we couldn't help but notice how practically every single star painted her lips some scarlet shade. Wanna try it tomorrow? Here's your guide to finding your perfect red.

But was anyone else psyched that we saw a whole lot of classy cleavage in some v-necks (OK, deep v-necks) on the carpet? Obviously Sofia Vergara brought her girls out. But also joining her were Amy Adams (Totally having an "I love showing my boobs!" moment in her career, FTR, and also a winner!), Reese Witherspoon, Julianna Marguilies and red-carpet newbie Margot Robbie.
4. The stars brought sexy back, too. LOVE a good backless gown. Did you guys see that queen of acting and everything polished, Cate Blanchett's back was so backless, she allllmost showed just a teensy touch of crack? Even if she did, it'd be the fanciest, most civilized one you'd ever see. Also showing some skin from behind were stars like Emma Watson, Reese Witherspoon and Amy Adams. Now if these ladies aren't bring sexy back, we're not really sure anyone is -- Justin Timberlake included.
