So far, we've seen Hailee Steinfeld play a tough-talking gun-wielding orphan (True Grit), a star-crossed lover (Romeo and Juliet), and a world-saving alien killer (Ender's Game). Up next? The 17 year old will be a pregnant teenage punk in the '80s. There's officially no role this girl can't nail.

Per today's casting news, Hailee is set to star in the big-screen adaptation of Ten Thousand Saints, a coming-of-age novel about the New York City punk scene. Though no leading man has been cast just yet, it's sure to be a covetable role-the story centers around a teenage boy who drops out of school, moves to the East Village, and falls in with a straight-edge crowd after his best friend dies of an overdose. Heavy stuff, huh?

This is only the beginning of the slew of big-deal roles Hailee has coming up: She's also signed on for Can a Song Save Your Life?, a musical romance with a cast that includes Keira Knightley and Adam Levine; Hateship Loveship, a Kristen Wiig-led drama (yup, we said drama); and The Keeping Room, a civil war thriller with Sam Worthington and Brit Marling. We're going to be seeing a whole lotta Hailee in 2014, and we couldn't be happier about it.
