Is "nipple correction" surgery going too far?

Now that we've all questioned our right to have body hair, would you like yet another thing to feel self-conscious and crummy about? Enter the surgical field of "nipple correction." Once largely the domain of women who were having reconstructive surgery after cancer, nipple "enhancements" are on the rise and now being marketed to the rest of us, as we found out from one very creepy press release.

Find out which celebrity showing off her nipples is leading this trend.

And just in case you were OK with the pair you've already got, the Southern California surgery practice that put out the release offers a "Pick the Perfect Nipple" rating system (NSFW, ladies), in which you can compare and contrast 25 different sets based on areola diameter and various nipple types-and then vote on your fave. Of the 25, only five are labeled "normal." So we have to ask: Have you ever thought of putting yours under the knife?

Thinking about plastic surgery of any type? Make sure you read the latest scalpel news over at allure.com before going under the knife.
