Get Karl Lagerfeld's Olympic Collection for Cheap
With the Opening Ceremony mere days away, we are in full on obsession mode over all the fabulous Olympic-themed fashion and beauty products. Most recently, Karl Lagerfeld, creative director of Chanel, debuted his Olympic capsule collection at Selfridges in London, featuring splatter paint skinny jeans, jackets, and sequin collars in gold, silver, and bronze. (Interesting fact: Lagerfeld says he doesn't even watch the Olympics. Go figure.)

And the prices? The line retails between $148 and $505, which is kind of a steal when you compare it to the price of a Chanel bag, which costs thousands. The Olympic-inspired merch is only available at a pop-up store inside Selfridges, but if you're not planning on being in London anytime soon, no worries. You can just whip up one of these Lagerfeld originals at home.

As glamorous as these collars and skinny jeans are, we can't help but notice that they kinda look like a pretty easy DIY project. All you need is some acrylic paint, a brush, and a little extra time on your hands. Get all Jackson Pollock, and you've got yourself a pair of Olympic-themed splatter paint skinny jeans.
What do you think? Would you pay for the Karl Lagerfeld Olympic collection or just make your own?
