Kate Bosworth: Topshop's Newest Designer

Here comes the next fashion craze: Kate Bosworth—the slender actress and major style star has designed the perfect fall wardrobe for you. Over the past few months, Bosworth has quietly been designing an amazing capsule collection for Topshop — and it hits the web TODAY. Like, now, now, now.

Called simply “The Collection,” the new line consists of 46 pieces created by Bosworth that are all about blending a masculine-feminine aesthetic. Think slouchy boyfriend coats paired with ethereal silk-chiffon shirts and clingy, metallic leather skirts.

The actress/designer who stars in the edgy ads shot by her husband, director Michael Polish, has had a long-standing relationship with Topshop. She's often spotted sporting their clothing spectacularly—and is now known as much for her stellar style as she is for her films, as well as the bohemian Coachella circuit — the former which inspired her first dabble in design with the retailer this past May — but don't expect an ounce of bohemia here. The Collection is all about luxurious, perfect basics — real pieces that everyone could and should wear, every day. Snatch this up, because Miss Bosworth is fashion gold and really does know her stuff.

The prices vary: at the lowest end, you’ve got a finespun t-shirt selling for $55, at the highest, you’ve got a shearling coat for $808, plus plenty of glossy patent leather accessories to cinch and pinch everything to glamorous proportions. Not exactly cheap, but mark my words, these things will fly out of stores in record time, so snatch something up if you can.
