It's official: 'Tis the season for high-low capsule collections. While we'll be spending the next seven-odd months calculating our purchasing strategy for Alexander Wang's H&M line, Gap Inc. announced last Thursday that both Kate Spade New York and Jack Spade will collaborate with Gap Kids this year. Set to launch in November, much like Wang for H&M, the childrenswear line marks the first time the two brands have designed kids' clothing.

Kate Spade New York excitedly tweeted the news on Thursday: "Wait no longer! We've been scheming with @Gap and our collaboration with #GapKids is launching this November."

And if history repeats itself, this collaboration will enjoy quite a successful run while on the market; Gap Kids has previously collaborated with Diane von Furstenberg, shown above, and Stella McCartney to much critical acclaim.
