The Duchess has landed. We repeat: the Duchess has landed. And, no, Kate Middleton didn't make her much-anticipated grand appearance in Wellington, New Zealand in a Beyoncé-style concert bodysuit. But she did look incredibly chic and ladylike in a double-breasted red suit and black pumps--all while dexterously carrying little Prince George down the stairs.

For the start of the royal Cambridge family tour of New Zealand and Australia, Kate wore a red coat by Catherine Walker and matching pillbox hat by Gina Foster. She also reached into the Queen's royal jewelry box again for a fern-shaped platinum and diamond brooch, which her grandmother-in-law first wore in 1954 on a Commonwealth tour.

The 18-month-old prince worked the preppy vibe in a cream cardigan over a pristine white Peter Pan-collared bloomer set. (Props to you, George, especially after such a long flight. Although maybe he wore casual, comfy BabyGap for the plane ride and then changed into the adorably monochrome ensemble.) The next big question: Will Prince George officially make baby-size cardies a thing?

Do you like Kate's outfit? Seriously, how adorable is Prince George?
