In what is rapidly becoming their Down Under routine, Kate and William's Australia tour on Saturday saw an official public appearance, another A+ Kate Middleton outfit, and more "playful" banter between the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge.

The pair arrived at an Australian air force base near Brisbane this morning, where Kate and William were invited to climb into a fighter jet. After William made his way into the cockpit, Kate-in a white-and-blue LK Bennett dress and 4-inch heels- was "unexpectedly ushered to get in as well," according to People. William reportedly offered her the back seat, asking, "Do you fancy jumping in the back?" However, she asked if she could sit in the front, instead; so, William moved into the back and Kate took the cockpit. "The duchess later flashed a big smile as she sat at the controls," the report notes. Afterwards, a commanding officer of the squadron recounted that Kate was fascinated by the "dials and gadgets," and he confirmed there was some back-and-forth "between the two as to who was sitting in what seat." If-after William's recent barbs about Kate's outfits, and her toupee jab on Friday-we were feeling like a kid in the backseat listening to mom and dad bicker about the air conditioning, we now have covered our ears with our hands and begun humming a pop song to try to block it out.

The two got a night to themselves Saturday night, as they attended a rugby match in Sydney, where William was photographed drinking beer, while Kate-dressed casually in a sweater and scarf-chatted with a woman sitting next to her.

"I'm surprised you haven't had any comments to make about my scarf . . ." we imagine Kate saying, with an aggressive smirk.

William smiles. "This isn't a public appearance, any of my jokes would be wasted."

"'Jokes'?! That's, uh, an interesting word choice . . ." Kate starts absently flipping through the program. "Jerry Seinfeld better watch out, huh?"
