Katy Perry's Designing an Accessories Collection for Claire's!

Katy Perry's a style icon through and through, but her look isn't an easy one to cop. From music note-bedecked gowns to body-con animal prints, few of the things she wears would fly in your 8 a.m. homeroom. What would, though? Katy's new jewelry collection, coming to a Claire's near you.

She's teamed up with the mall favorite for a line of jewelry and accessories that'll hit shelves this spring, right around the time her Prismatic Tour kicks off. The songstress will be heavily involved in the design process, which means it'll be colorful and whimsical and totally Katy, and the collection will be inspired by everything from her passionate fans (who adorably call themselves Katy Kats-kitten-shaped jewelry better be happening) to song lyrics ("California Gurls" is just begging to become a nameplate necklace).

The bad news? You have to wait until May to get your hands on Katy Perry-designed/approved/adored baubles. The good news? The collaboration will continue through 2016, with new pieces added basically around the clock. And seriously, if the collection is half as cute as this puppy (star of Katy's latest video!), we're all in luck.
