Whether you're a fan of "Girls" or not, (some say it's funny, insightful, and honest, while others insist it's a self-indulgent view of unlikable characters) we can all thank HBO for bringing Lena Dunham into our lives, who, for the record is totally the former in real life. We appreciate her candor, her unique perspective, and the fact that she never takes herself or her wardrobe too seriously. At first, Dunham and her alter ego, Hannah Horvath, seemed like one and the same, from their penchant for awkward rompers to their uncanny inability to filter their thoughts. But as Dunham has become increasingly confident in the public eye and in her wardrobe choices, she's become a true style star with originality. And thankfully, while her fashion sense has evolved, there is still a little Hannah in there. By Joanna Douglas, Yahoo Shine Senior Fashion and Beauty Editor
