It seems fitting that Lorde wore an all-white ensemble for her debut performance at Coachella. After all, it was a new beginning of sorts for the "Royals" singer-her very first time onstage at the music festival. (Though something tells us this won't be her last.) Naturally, the beauty had to follow suit.

"We wanted to keep the makeup clean to work with her ensemble," explained Lorde's go-to artist, Amber Dreadon. "But we had to stick with her signature lip!" Maintaining the purity was a pristine complexion, achieved with a base of M.A.C. Pro Longwear Foundation, then highlighted on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and the chin with Cream Colour Base in Pearl. The singer's classic flick was a bit smaller than usual, but still present, crafted with the fine tip of M.A.C. Penultimate Eyeliner. Dreadon also added a subtle contour to the eyes by diffusing a taupe cream shadow called Groundwork into the crease, enhancing that definition with a few coats of mascara.

As for that now iconic pout? Lorde (finally!) debuted her brand new lipstick from her forthcoming collection with M.A.C. Cosmetics! Dreadon filled in the lips with Vino lip pencil, then applied the product straight from the tube. It's not exactly the blackened plum we've seen on Lorde recently-it has more of a pure purple to it-but it's still gorgeous. We can hardly wait until June for it to hit stores.
