Clothing brand lululemon has fulfilled one lucky groom's request for a comfortable tuxedo by designing him a personalized outfit for his December wedding, which he received this week.

Six months ago, while planning his upcoming nuptials to fiancee Dayna Stoller, Todd Mombach, 30, a Chicago-based sales and marketing manager, contemplated what type of tuxedo he wanted to wear.

He loved the comfy lululemon button-down shirt his soon-to-be mother-in-law had just bought him, but Mombach wished it were a bit more formal. So, late one night, he posted a request on the company's "Hey lululemon" user forum where customers issue complaints and suggestions. "How many people hate to dress up because they get way too hot and uncomfortable," Mombach wrote. "I for one do. I'm engaged and getting married soon... LULU DESIGN MY TUX!"

He was shocked when several days later, the company reached out, agreeing to create a one-of-a-kind tux just for him.

"I never thought anyone would take the request seriously," Mombach tells Yahoo Shine. "They said they dug my tux idea and told me to stay tuned. About a month later I heard back — my post had received a ton of comments and Lulu decided to 'take the journey with me.'"

For lululemon in-house designer Cara Sumpton, Mombach's idea sounded like a fun challenge. "Using our chosen design and Todd’s measurements, we customized the suit jacket and pant to what we thought would be perfect for Todd’s wedding day," she tells Yahoo Shine.

The "Todd Tux" is no ordinary suit. Its knit material is lightweight and comfortable and comes equipped with fun wedding-specific details: relaxed knees to allow for creative dance moves, hidden thumb holes to keep sleeves from riding up, and several pockets for a celebratory cigar, a flask of alcohol, and a box of breath mints.

"It was pretty mind-blowing, to be honest," Mombach says, upon receiving the suit. "Reactions have been out of this world. No one has seen, or even heard, of anything like it."

Although Mombach will have to wait until his December 6 wedding day to wear the Todd Tux, he's not the only lululemon fan to receive a special treat from the brand. According to a company rep, lululemon receives 30-50 product requests from customers every day, and its goal is to produce more of them this year. Back in February, it created a custom pair of their "Wunder Under" cropped tights with an ankle strap for a customer. What's next — a lululemon wedding dress? We'll just have to wait and see.
