So yeah, that's why she couldn't make it to pizza place after school. But maybe next time, k?

Let's just say it: Madonna's daughter is one cool teenager. She's got her own line of clothing that her friends line up to buy at Macys, a best friend named Kelly Osbourne and a mom who can't exactly complain about a low-cut shirt. It's not always easy being a celebrity kid, but some are just built for the role. And Lourdes "Lola" Leon is one of them.

Today, her uber-popular Macy's line "Material Girl" which she launched with her mom last year, released a new crop of print ads starring Kelly Osbourne for the Fall 2011 collection. Lourdes did her styling on the shoot, and Kelly loved everything the 15-year-old picked out. "She trips me out because it's not like talking to a 15-year-old," Osbourne told Entertainment Tonight.

As a child of the most sexually daring and independent-minded female icons alive, Lourdes Leon is a great social experiment. Born to a mom who ruled the world, and a dad who was hand selected and virtually contracted for the job, her childhood has been unlike any other. In her younger years, she moved to London, gained a half brother and an adopted brother, accompanied her family on world tours, movie premieres and international travel, and muscled through her mom's public divorce. Now she's a full-fledged teenager, and her mom's dating someone closer to her own age. What must it be like to be the daughter of the woman who can and will do anything she wants?

It clearly hasn't hurt her confidence. The anti-Gossip Girl, she's enrolled in a public performing arts high school in New York (the Fame school, actually), and her slouchy, tomboyishly chic style reflects it. Now, with a little support from mom, she's becoming a trend-setter for kids her age around the country. She obviously knows what she's doing. Her instinct to not be the model in the ad campaign, but the creative mind behind it, is dead on. She doesn't need to the center of attention, she just is.

In the behind the scenes video with Osbourne, shot in April, Lola appears comfortable in front of the camera, creatively accessorized and a little unimpressed. In a word: cool. I'm not talking cool like she's popular with friends, or well-adjusted or precociously endearing to adults, I mean cool like the real thing. The kind of girl you stare at during class, memorizing every bracelet on her wrist and every muscular decision the side of her mouth makes. The kind of girl who knows you're staring and doesn't care one way or the other. That cool.
