Shoe-maker extraordinaire Manolo Blahnik is currently making his rounds at various Neiman Marcus locations to promote his second book, Manolo's New Shoes. Next stop? San Francisco. Fab stopped by for a quick chat before he greeted his fans. He took us through his new tome and even got highly excited at his own genius creations as he turned the pages! Then he revealed his ultimate shoe picks for the just-graduated college student, all the tall ladies, and the newly single gal who's out for some fun.

  • For the twenty-something girl just starting her career: "I love young girls in flat shoes! Young girls like to wear those huge things, but I like them flat!"

  • For the tall woman: "The tall woman should wear high, high heels. I love the giraffe look. I love Amazonian girls."

  • For the newly single gal who wants to be fabulous:
    "Go for it. Wear the most extravagant shoe you could ever find. Jewels, stuff. Revenge!"
