Mariah Carey’s new diamond ring pop

Over the weekend, Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Canon decided to get married again for the third time. "We get married every year! That's our thing," Cannon told UsMagazine.com. "If you were married to Mariah Carey, you'd want to marry her every year too! I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real." This time he said the wedding would be a more traditional ceremony, unlike their two prior events in tropical settings. Whether you consider this behavior to be excessive or sweet, it does seem a bit extravagant to have a full-on wedding every year, complete with a new diamond ring for the missus. Even when that lady is Mariah Carey.

The 41-year-old singer is known for her extreme fondness of butterflies, rainbows, Hello Kitty, and all things pink, but the girly-girl also enjoys candy ring pops from time to time. Carey has a track called "Candy Bling" on her last album, where she sings about her love for candy ring pops, and when Cannon proposed to Carey he actually hid her engagement ring in a ring pop candy wrapper. Clever.

As a gesture to the woman who now officially has everything, Cannon designed her a custom ring pop covered in diamonds to commemorate their second anniversary. Jason of Beverly Hills jewelers covered the white gold bauble in white diamonds and pink sapphires to create this gaudy elaborate piece.
