You know you're at a good party when you're muttering about your camera malfunctioning. Martha Stewart walks by, makes a sympathetic sound and says to you. "Oh, I know! They can be such a pain!"

And what a party it was! Mickey Boardman, Todd Oldham, Emma Roberts, Sabina Soto, Giada de Laurentiis, Leelee Sobieski and January Jones (somehow I missed her-must've been a height thing) rubbed shoulders with editors, bloggers and stylists at the IAC building last night in New York City.

Music spun by Chelsea Layland got partiers moving. Although hearing "Gangster Paradise" in the midst of well-heeled and fed partiers seemed odd rather than hipster-ironic. Later on during the party there was a surprise performance by Wilson Phillips.

Each of the five Shops at Target participants: Privet House, Cos Bar, Polka Dog Bakery, The Candy Store and The Webster had cool and unique, oh I guess you'd call them sculptures that showed off their wares. They dangled from the ceilings while people circled them and checked them out.

We've covered two of the four shops: Cos Bar (beauty) and Polka Dog Bakery (doggie stuff). The Webster has tropical, summery clothing for men, women and babies. Privet House has lovely home, garden and home décor pieces. The Candy Store-you guessed it has candy. Prices from all the collections range from $1 to $159.99. They'll hit Target stores nationwide and online on May 6.
