Martine Sitbon's White Leather Carry-All: Utterly impractical and absolutely fabulous
As utterly impractical as it might be, I kind of want a white bag. OK, I really want a white bag. I had been envisioning one that's oversize and slouchy and made of super-soft leather̬ much like this carryall by Martine Sitbon. There's not a whole lot going on with it in terms of bells and whistles, which I love. It's appealingly un-branded, but you can tell from looking at it that it's really well made. The little details (crisscross stitching on the straps, teeny metal pegs to keep you from scratching the bottom) make all the difference. There's something about the side bands and buckles that suggests an equestrian vibe, but its tone-on-tone chalk white palette feels fresh and entirely modern.
