Michelle Obama's Subtle Hair Change is Perfect for a FLOTUS (VIDEO)
Being the First Lady of the United States certainly seems like it has its perks -- a rad house; the most baller Christmas tree every year; Air Force One. But it also has its caveats -- you can't make a simple trip to Target; you're always competing with Bo for the public's love; and you can't make any drastic style changes while your husband's in office. 'Cause, you know, it'll start a media frennnzzy!!!

Enter the subtle yet noticeable hair change Michelle Obama debuted at a pre-Easter ceremony at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. It's cute, and it's the perfect answer to hair boredom when you can't do anything major. Do you see what I'm talking about? Of course you do; you've got a keen eye. Let's discuss!
Her ends are flipped out (for those without keen eyes). Normally, they're curled under, making her look more ... professional. The FLOTUS looks so cute with this 'do. It's fun, kind of retro, and again, a great style change without making a style change. Kind of akin to switching your part from side to center.

Also, while we're on the important subject of Mrs. Obama's hair, it's a little flatter than usual, no? Typically, her tresses are on the pouffier side, almost bouffant-ish, Jackie O.-style. I like this look for Michelle. Kind of a funky political lady 'do, if you will.
So, let this be a helpful tip for anyone in a style rut who doesn't want to make a balls-to-the-wall change. Try flipping your hair out. And de-puffing it. Or puffing it, if you don't already. There are plenty of things you can do without shelling out cash -- or the time to grow it out.
