We tend to take diet and beauty advice from supermodels with a healthy grain of salt. After all, they're basically aliens, and no amount of kale is going to make us look like we came from their home planet. But Miranda Kerr is so refreshingly sincere and likable--and yes, insanely gorgeous--that we're pretty much willing to try whatever she tells us. Namely:

Her skin-care routine: "I cleanse, tone, and moisturize morning and night. It's so important to remove your makeup every day. My friends will tell me they didn't cleanse their face and I'm like, 'Are you kidding me?' For my body, I use a dry body brush every day, which I feel really stimulates the lymphatic system and makes my skin feel extra smooth, and I make a sea salt and coconut oil body scrub."

Her biggest beauty splurge: "Massages and oxygen facials."

How she gets that bouncy hair: "My hair gets beaten up with my job, so I wash it every second day and use a mask once a week. Sometimes I put the mask on the ends of dry hair, too. I've been using Clear's Total Care range [Kerr is a spokeswoman for the brand], and I've really noticed a difference; my hair feels stronger, lightweight, smooth, and shiny."

Her signature scent: "Joyful by Escada."

What you'll find in her makeup bag: "I like a red lip. If I'm tired or I've been traveling, a red lip is an easy way to brighten the face. I love Chanel Rebelle, but I think it's been discontinued. And well-groomed eyebrows are important. I always carry tweezers and an eyelash curler with me."

Her workout routine: "I meditate every day and practice gratitude, and I do Pilates and yoga. Sometimes I turn on the music and jump on the trampoline with my son--he loves that. If you have just five minutes, do a plank. It tones your whole body. I do little leg-lifts on the plane and clench my stomach when I'm sitting. It's little things that really help."

Her dream adventure: "I want to hike the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. I haven't had the opportunity, but I would love to do that."

What she eats: "I studied integrated nutrition in New York and back in Australia, so it's very important to me. I like salmon, avocado, eggs, and green juices, and I put lemon on everything. I used to use so much salt, but I'm trying to eat less and use lemon as flavor instead. I don't deprive myself of anything, though; I eat everything, just not all the time. If you focus on filling your body with nutrients, you don't have to count calories, and you can have an indulgence now and again."

When she feels her best: "After I've had a shower and washed my hair and I'm really clean, that's when I feel my best. Also when I'm with my son--and in nature."
