Mmm...Delicious! DKNY's Newest Pickings: Be Delicious Charmingly
How do I put this?...I'm something of an apple connoisseur. I like Fuji, but not as much as Gala. Love Golden Delicious, but only eat Granny Smiths when they're baked.
So when Donna Karan started rolling out her DKNY Delicious fragrance collection (which includes Be Delicious, Red Delicious, and Delicious Night), I was psyched that there was someone else out there who also relished in the subtle nuances between varieties.
The newest in Donna's bunch are DKNY Be Delicious Charmingly and DKNY Red Delicious Charmingly Delicious has this sharp, citrusy, zing to it that's slightly tempered by dewy, watery notes. It smells like something a sporty blonde would wear with board shorts and a bikini top to the annual beach bonfire. It's young, optimistic and casual, but a little exciting, too.
The Red Delicious Charmingly Delicious (sheesh, that's a mouthful) is waaay too cool for playing beach blanket bingo. The fragrance's juicy core is pure red apple, but spiked with succulent red fruits, violet petals, and vanilla, this concoction comes off as sultry, not sweet.
Choosing one depends on what kind of summer you want to have, I guess....
