My Antiperspirant Discovery
By Sarah Wexler,Allure magazine
I've pretty much always been loyal to the standard antiperspirant stick-basic, easy, and if even the invisible solids sometimes get a streak on my dark clothes, so be it. But I recently had a revelation that intrigued my beauty-editor coworkers. I heard about Dermadoctor's Gorilla Warfare, which promises to block hair growth and sweating, as well as donate some cash to the Jane Goodall Institute and decided to give it a try. Here's the news: gasp, it's a roll-on. Yes, the old-school dispenser with a roller ball at the top and liquid product on your underarms.

I mentioned the roll-on factor at work and everyone wondered about the drying situation. Do you have to stand with your arms out before you get dressed? Well, yes. But here's the thing-I'm totally obsessed with the stuff! Since it goes on like a liquid, it feels clean and dries in a minute-much faster than the viscous gel in some clear antiperspirants. I might switch back to a solid come winter, but for the rest of the dog days of August, I'm sold on roll-on. What about you-what's your pit stick of choice?
