Olivia Palermo Is Launching A Clothing Line On Her New Reality Show!

By Tracey Lomrantz, Glamour magazine

Susan shared a bit of this news with you gals last week--that a former star of MTV's The City is getting her own clothing line!--but today we've got even more scoop on Olivia Palermo's next fashion adventure...

We confess, we've been obsessed with Olivia's style since her first appearance on MTV, when her wardrobe kiiiiiinda stole some of the spotlight away from Whitney's whiplash-inducing love life. Then we heard that she was getting a reality show of her very own--a while back, she told Elle, "I'm currently working on a TV project, my own show"--and we were sort of psyched to see how her awesome beeotch-iness (our favorite line of all time from The City: "This is your first pair of Manolos?! I got mine when I was like, 17!") and covetable wardrobe would combine for a half hour of pure guilty pleasure. Now Racked has the full scoop, via the current issue of Vogue Spain: "She discloses that her own reality show will follow her every move as she-wait for it-launches her own clothing line."

She says she loves to tinker with pieces in her own wardrobe, which should serve as some kind of qualification to design--"Recently, I've been taking dresses in my closet, vintage or from a previous season, and re-draping them, adding my own personal touch with a brooch or a belt. Reinventing them."-- but we're even more interested in just trying to snag a bit of her insanely cute personal style.

Launching a celebrity clothing line via reality show is definitely a path that's been well-worn by MTV reality starlets before her--Whitney Port worked on Whitney Eve on the last season of The City, and Lauren Conrad's new show will focus on her life as she brings her new fashion venture, Paper Crown, to life--but we're so into Olivia's style that we'll probably tune in regardless!

How about you? Do you gals dig her fashion sense as much as we do? Would you tune in to a new show about her forthcoming clothing line? More importantly, would you be interested in buying it? Discuss!
