What Piece of Jewelry Do You Never Take Off?

When I was 17 my dad gave me a necklace -- a dainty silver chain with a little cross covered in diamonds. It was my first "adult" piece of jewelry and I fell in love with it instantly. More than seven years later, I still wear it everyday.

And while I totally respect busting out an awesome new jewelry trend like an arm party (click here to see how to create your own), I also love the idea of wearing one piece that means a lot -- like my necklace -- everyday. I was curious to know if other ladies in the office had a jewelry fave they couldn't live without. Here's what they said:

"I always wear this necklace that my best friend Jaymie gave me as a birthday gift. It has the imprint of a hydrangea in it, which is my favorite flower. Now we live 3,000 miles apart, but wearing the necklace makes me feel like she's nearby." -- Alexis F.

"Everyday when I leave the house I wear my chunky copper anchor ring. It symbolizes a very difficult emotional time I went through in life, and so it reminds me to stay anchored and true to myself." -- Jess A.

"I wear my pinkie ring all the time. I asked my grandma for a bunch of her vintage rings and she sent them to me. It's funny because it fit her middle finger." -- Tiffanie P.

"The only things I actually remember to wear every day are my engagement ring and wedding band. I do end up taking them off throughout the day (anytime I do dishes, work out, etc.) but I almost never leave the house without them. The rest of the time I like to mix up my jewelry and try new combos, because isn't that the best part of accessories?"-- Sarah C.

"When I got my very first 'big girl' paycheck, I bought myself a tortoise Michael Kors watch. It was a little treat to myself, and it represents one of my first real 'grown up' purchases. Even though it was expensive, I love that it matches almost anything." -- Kylie T.

"My husband gave me diamond stud earrings a few years ago for Christmas, and I wear them every day. My dad passed away when I was 12, and as a teenager a lot of my friends got diamond studs from their dads for their sweet 16. I must have mentioned it to my husband at some point, because when he gave me the earrings he said that he wanted to give me a pair since I never got them from my father. That makes them extra special." -- Dawn D.
