Pippa Middleton makes fashion week debut, other celebs ignored
On Monday came the biggest celebrity sighting thus far at London Fashion Week: Pippa Middleton. According to Fashionista, Kate Middleton's sister scooted into the British Museum just moments before the Temperley fashion show began and was flanked by two security guards until all guests were seated. She purchased the black and ivory Temperley dress she wore to the runway show earlier that day.
But here's something else we noticed. The woman in red on the left of Middleton in this photo: Rosario Dawson. Cropped right out of the frame by photographers. Because who cares about a big Hollywood star with you have the Duchess of Cambridge's sister in front of your lens! We don't think anyone realized British socialite Peaches Geldof was there as well.
The Middleton sisters are both big fans of Temperley, and Pippa wore a memorable, emerald green Temperely gown to the royal wedding reception. Some might say it was that dress along with the now infamous butt-flattering Alexander McQueen bridesmaid gown that earned Pippa her own Facebook fan appreciate page.
On top of upstaging Hollywood starlets, Pippa is garnering more press than the Temperley Spring 2012 show itself, which was inspired by Grace Kelly in the film "High Society." How suiting a presentation for the sister of a future princess. The designs from the collection were composed of silk organza, sheer chiffon, tulle, intricate beading and applique flowers. Perhaps even some garments to wear to the next royal wedding.
