How to Pull Off the Leather Look

Leather in every form is a huge trend for fall!/winter. The great thing about it being so popular is that you can pull of the look no matter what your budget is!
Go Faux: If you're looking for a faux leather legging (vegan), you can find super cheap options at as low as $36, or invest in a pricier option that's more than $100 (see below). Either way, you'll be able to rock the trend! A tip I give clients who are looking for a lower-end pair is to just make sure that the "leather" material isn't TOO shiny - this can cheapen the look.
The Real Deal: Leather denim is another popular choice, but this can be a little trickier with pricing because all over leather can be expensive! A great alternative to this is to look for leather "coated" denim. You get the same overall effect at a much cheaper price, like $79 (see below). If you're looking to invest in a piece that will last for multiple seasons, then an all-over leather or leather-paneled pair of denim is a great choice. I love when there's unique gold or silver hardware on the pants - this makes them look even more luxurious.
How To Wear It: You can wear your leather items with lots of basics that you already have in your closet. With leggings, I love the look of an oversized sweater or basic t-shirt mixed with fun accessories to tie everything together. Booties or basic boots are great shoe options.

Leather denim looks great with a light denim wash button up, or a fun blazer with a t-shirt underneath. You can wear a pump or flat - it all depend on how dressy you want to get. Really, the options are limitless because these have the same look as dark denim jeans. They're so versatile!
Any body type can pull off the leather look - it's more about how you proportion your body with the other items you're wearing and making sure that the leggings/jeans fit you correctly!
