Recycled clothing: garments made from plastic bags, bottle caps
The Purple Prom Dress-
Casey Hansel, 18, is a freshman at Lehigh University majoring in engineering. Raised in Newport, Rhode Island by artistic parents, she always had a creative flair. She loves experimenting with recycled parts and finding innovative ways to reuse discarded materials. In 2010 Hansel won a Gold Key and the American Visions Award for her "Purple Prom Dress" in the 2006 Rhode Island Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. How awesome is this garment?
