People like to see pictures of her without her sunglasses on.-

This afternoon, because it's big fashion news, I wrote a little story about Michelle Obama's style choices on her first European trip. Immediately, in the 2,000+ comments, readers started weighing in about how downright idiotic this topic was, how "nobody cares," and how I should have better things to think about. Oh, snap! Listen: I hear you. I know that, in these crap times, there are many, many more significant issues to write about. But, y' know, this is a space to talk about fashion and, though I try to keep things (as one famous MTV show said) "real," I have a rather large obligation to blog about what's going on right this second in the world of style.

Anyway, let's go back to having fun. For fashion lovers and haters alike, I've put together a slideshow of some of the industry's most (self?) important faces. Do you know who they are? Check the images above. Answers are below.

1. Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue

2. Simon Doonan, creative director of Barneys New York, married to designer Jonathan Adler

3. Jason Wu, designer, created Michelle Obama's controversial white inaugural gown

4. Anne Slowey, American Elle magazine's fashion-news director, host of the recent reality show "Stylista"

5. Agyness Deyn, famous British model, recently split with Albert Hammond Jr. from The Strokes

6. Tory Burch, American designer of an eponymous line of sportswear often seen on "Gossip Girl" and on preppy New York girls. Dated Lance Armstrong.

7. Diane von Furstenberg, designer, known for wrap dresses and basic awesomeness.

8. Annie Leibowitz, actually, truly a "noted fashion photographer." Shoots frequently for Vogue and Vanity Fair. Famously asked Queen Elizabeth to take off her crown during a shoot, the Queen was not thrilled.

9. Stella McCartney, British designer, Paul's daughter. Friends with Gwyneth and Madonna, never uses leather or fur in her high-priced line.

10. Bar Rafaeli, Israeli model, dates Leonardo DiCaprio, host of the new "House of Style."

11. Vera Wang, American designer, best known for fancy wedding dresses along with bridesmaid gowns you might actually want to wear.

12. André Leon Talley, editor-at-large for American Vogue.

13. Rachel Zoe (pronounced Z'oh), high-end stylist responsible for dressing ladies like Nichole Richie and Lindsay Lohan. Star of Bravo's "Rachel Zoe Project." Says things like "I die" to express joy, excitement.

14. Marc Jacobs, American designer--but you knew that, right?

15. Patricia Field, costume designer, best known for her work on "Sex and the City," the series and the movie (everything that Carrie wore? That's her.)

16. Karl Lagerfeld, German-born designer, creative director for Chanel. Known for saying outlandish things about diets, design, women's weights, and the poor. People are fascinated by him, I always think he's a jerk.

17. Carine Roitfeld, editor-in-chief of French Vogue.

18. Coco Rocha, Canadian model. Currently very hot.
