Smudge-Free Mascara Tricks

Question: Is there a trick or certain mascara that will not smudge?

Answer: My mascara used to always smudge...until I found the right formula. While any water-resistant formula should do the trick, my favorite is Shu Uemura Basic Mascara, a gel formula that never smudges but is relatively easy to take off. If you're looking for something even sturdier, Kimora Lee recently told us that she loves L'Oréal Waterproof Voluminous Mascara, and in fact, sometimes sleeps with it on (and still no raccoon eyes in the morning!). You also want to make sure that you don't have anything greasy under your eyes. If you like a lot of eye cream under there, make sure to powder over the area before applying your mascara.
