Study Shows: Blondes Spend More Time Primping. Are You Surprised?

A new development has been made in science's never-ending quest to determine whether blondes really have more fun (seriously, do they really have nothing more pressing to investigate?). A study determined that blondes on average spend six more minutes getting ready than brunettes.

The study found that brunettes take 66 minutes to get ready daily, and their fair-haired counterparts take 72 minutes. This works out to 19 days versus 22 days a year spent primping, respectively. One other interesting find: brunettes were more likely to leave the house without doing their hair and makeup (I've been guilty of this a few times, as have these celebs -- eek!).

The theory goes that since blondes spend more time primping, they look better/feel more confident and ergo have more fun. What do you think? Does this theory hold water? For example, do you think that these blonde celebs really have more fun than these brunette ones? (And don't forget the redheads, the study didn't mention their primping habits unfortunately.)

I don't think we should all go blonde so that we have more fun (although if you're going to, make sure you check out these crucial tips first), but maybe we can learn a lesson from this: a few extra minutes primping could translate into more confidence during the day and maybe even a bit more fun. Orrrr, maybe this is all just nuts ...
