Style Experts' Favorites on the Oscars Red Carpet

The epitome of glam was Sunday night at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards ... and genConnect had two fashion experts Jayne Geller and Audrey Mansfield live blog on the wardrobes that deserve to win a golden statue. Join style expertsas they review the best dressed on the red carpet.

JAYNE: The moment has finally arrived. What trends will we see at this year's Oscars? We're about to find out together.

JAYNE: Jennifer Lawrence looking flawless in a gorgeous dress by Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein. Interestingly, she isn't wearing any jewelry other than a simple bangle, and it totally works! Josh Hutcherson classic tuxedo ... Melissa Leo the white lace dress is the best dress she's worn so far for all the award shows.

AUDREY: Melissa Leo is wearing a laser cut mirrored gown by Marc Bower. Hair classic French twist and classic makeup. She played it perfectly by keeping it classic with the cut - and not the color making the statement. Hard to believe this is the same woman that was in "The Fighter."

JAYNE: Armie Hammer is so good looking too bad he doesn't have a single twin!

AUDREY: The Classic Tux is the notched satin lapel so far the men are keeping it traditional with bow ties. Tom Ford will surely be in Tom Ford because Tom wouldn't have it any other way... and I must say that this man gets it right every time.

JAYNE: Hailee Steinfeld looking all grown up in the pretty pale pink ballerina inspired dress.

AUDREY: Mandy Moore in the most delicate looking gown color is either blush or champagne her hair and makeup complete what I think is perfect. I have never seen her look so put together. Bravo to the stylist and her hair and makeup team ... She looks all woman in this Monique Lhuillier gown.

AUDREY: Michelle Williams!!! I just love her in short hair Mia Farrow cut. Notice the pale lips ... in Chanel.

JAYNE: Yes. Michelle looks like Mia Farrow!

JAYNE: Mila Kunis' dress is ethereal and beautiful. The lace detail is exquisite. Amy Adams in navy, the color of this dress is fierce. The neckline is a little high.

AUDREY: I'm a bit surprised by Amy

JAYNE: Amy Adams wears L'Wren Scott. I've met L'Wren numerous times. Haven't met her boyfriend yet - Mick Jagger. L'Wren's design for Amy Adams is in tune with Amy's past style choices. Like the dress, don't love it because of the high neckline.

JAYNE: Red is the color of the season.

AUDREY: Red. Red. Red!

JAYNE: Anne Hathaway looks stunning.

AUDREY: Agree... I'm noticing a makeup trend: playing up the eyes, nude lips and strong brows. (Get Perfect Skin With These Products)

AUDREY: Jennifer Hudson in tangerine orange looks great and making the most of all of her weight loss. The bold color looks great with her skin tone. Love it!

JAYNE: Jennifer Hudson - she has transformed!

AUDREY: Cate Blanchett in lilac … Easter must be around the corner. Peaked lapel tux for Geoffrey Rush -- and no hat -- love his bald head.

JAYNE: Surprisingly, all the men are wearing black tuxedos with black ties, black shoes, and white shirts ... lol

JAYNE: Lace is also trending: Scarlett Johansson in scarlet by Dolce & Gabbana. Love the cut-out back.

AUDREY: Scarlett has new shag bob. I guess Jennifer Aniston wasn't the only one to get a new 'do. This raspberry shade is lovely and unusual. I like the use of lace but this dress, with a key hole back, is a miss for me...

JAYNE: Justin Timberlake's mom wearing Lanvin. Ryan should be interviewing her - she look great! Sharon Stone is still hot but the up do is not my favorite look for her.

AUDREY: Sharon Stone breaks out of the otherwise pale lips with a bright red lip! Love her gown and love her hair in a french twist. The addition of the feathers to the gown really brings your eye to the neckline. I love seeing the bit of movement the the feathers bring to the look.

JAYNE: The moment we've all been waiting for: Helena Bonham Carter. She definitely wins most improved.

JAYNE: Destry Spielberg is taller than her dad and she is only 14. A real stunner

AUDREY: We aren't really seeing the shoes … Hilary Swank in silver and a bit of bling and glitz. I love her in strapless gowns. She has great shoulders and should show them off! Love her sleek bun ... again very little jewelry and again the trend of adding feathers …

Helena Bonham Carter in black - not a crazy or wild dress. The shawl is nice and a bustle … all was good until we looked at her bum ... Love that you can count on her to be outrageous.

JAYNE: Helen Mirren - The shoulders are fantastic and the color is a deep true taupe. It works with her hair.

AUDREY: Jennifer Lawrence on of the few with long hair worn down. Colin Firth looks the English Gentleman that he is - traditional. Celine Dion stunning in sliver. That necklace!!! Halle Berry stunning strapless gown with tulle at the bottom. Penélope Cruz looks amazing just one month post baby she may have got her body back.

Sandra Bullock in red strapless with again a sleek bun love the v-back on this gown, fits her really well.

Christian Bale

in the not-so-traditional black shirt and tie.Reese Witherspoon this gowns reminds me of Julia Roberts a few years ago in YSL Vintage. Nicole Kidman. Does this dress look too bridal? She looks beautiful tonight. Gwyneth Paltrow in a silver deep v-neck gown and I like her straight hair. Gown by Calvin Klein. Her earrings looked very vintage, '80s inspired.

JAYNE: Halle Berry is perfect and so is this dress. Hilary Swank's tinsel Gucci dress looks great with the flowing feathers. What was Nicole Kidman's thinking? Did she just come from Geisha school? New mother Penélope Cruz is sexier than ever. Her hottest accessory is the one on her arm ... husband Javier Bardem.

Reese Witherspoon looks sophisticated in a dress I think she borrowed from Julia Roberts' closet. Gwyneth Paltrow is unforgettable in a skin tight, Cleopatra-influenced gold dress.

JAYNE: Natalie Portman looks perfect! Natalie Portman was the last to come down the red carpet and her purple Rodarte dress was a real plum. I have met the Mulleavy sisters (the Rodarte designers) and they are new designers with incredible talent.

AUDREY: The neckline balances out her bump. The grape shade is slimming and she did not have to wear a dark color to accomplish it. Wearing her hair down is also very slimming ... She looks like the prefect mum to be.
