Sylvester Stallone is the latest celebrity entering the fashion arena with a new menswear collection hitting stores next year. The line, called Stallone, is targetting customers between 25 and 40 and will include jeans, shirts, jackets, underwear, activewear, shoes, accessories, grooming products, and fragrance. What's even more bizarre: the inspiration for the comes from his famous films, "Rocky" and "Rambo."

If memory serves, Stallone doesn't really wear fashionable garments in these movies-in fact, he often isn't even wearing a shirt! Tank tops, silk boxing robes, sweatpants we can see... but grooming products and accessories? Really?

In an interview with WWD, Stallone points out that the clothes often make the man, and that Rocky Balboa's outfits built his character. "If he wore white and pleated pants, it would have been a whole different thing," said Stallone. "Clothes affect one's attitude." The actor feels clothing are important off-screen as well. "I pay a great deal of attention to the way I dress. When men learn to put things together, they start taking care of themselves better."

Supposedly Stallone worked with "great tailors" in Italy and the U.S. carefully selecting his patterns and fabrics. He claims he became "truly involved in style," was between "Rambo 2" and "Rambo 3" when he lost 25 pounds. "Nothing fit so I started buying custom clothing. I found out I really like this world," said Stallone. The real question: will the fashion world embrace Stallone?
