Talking Shop with Michelle from AllLacqueredUp
You've got to hand it to people who are passionate. I love nail polish as much as the next girl (OK, more), but Michelle from AllLacqueredUp.com- her blog is devoted entirely to polishes- takes it to an all new level. I thought her obsession earned her a guest appearance on Daily Beauty Reporter. So I got Michelle to spill the top five shades she'll rock for months to come:
Carolyn New York Hangin' on the Stoop "This light gray has a bit of shimmer, so it looks really fresh and clean," says Michelle. "But I like that it's different from other pale colors."
Zoya Lianne: Michelle is drawn to super-bright shades this time of year, but if you're bold threshold isn't has high as hers, go for Zoya's Lianne. "It has teeny gold sparkles which soften the color," she says.
China Glaze Shower Together: "It's so much fun for summer," says Michelle, who likens the color to that of pool water. The name is a little naughty, too, which also good.
OPI ElePhantastic Pink: Michelle loves this cheerful carnation pink, a safe alternative for nail polish traditionalists who are having palpitations about this season's unconventional color palette.
China Glaze Tree Hugger: "This color is one of my favorites," she says of this shimmering light green polish. "It has a spring-y, funny Easter-egg quality about it."
