That's Right, Dudes Can Now Buy "Hashtag Print" Shorts from J.Crew (#thoseshortstho)

We love a good patterned short in the summer. They're a great way to liven up an otherwise boring outfit while staying cool as the temperatures rise. That in mind, J.Crew's "hashtag print" short may be going a bit too far when it comes to a brand trying to be #relevant in #2014. Ok, the print itself is aesthetically fine and actually just resembles a traditional Indian ikat fabric, but it's more the fact that it's called the "hasthag print" that makes us feel a little queasy. If you do decide to pick these up (which you may, considering they're on sale for less than $50), maybe don't mention their name to friends. Then again, a close-up shot of the shorts could make for a pretty meta Instagram photo.
