The Newest Beauty Trends from Fashion Week

At this point, New York Fashion Week's just a blur of bright colors, front-row CW stars, and FiberOne bars (they were being given out by the dozens). Since it'll be months until the styles show up in stores, we decided to focus on something we can have right now: the beauty trends originating backstage.

Hair at Erin Fetherston
Fetherston's show inspired us to try '60s era hair that will make you feel elegant.

OUR FAVORITE FALL MAKEUP

Makeup at Timo Weiland
We don't encourage anyone to get a sunburn (in fact, we are SPF junkies). But if anyone could make a case for faking one, it'd be makeup artist James Boehmer. After he was done with them, the models at Weiland's show looked like they had just hopped off surfboards.

Hair at Rebecca Minkoff
Our favorite thing about Grace Coddington (besides everything)? Her hair, obviously. The models at Minkoff's show rocked a similar look, created by Tresemmé stylist Jeanie Syfu. Though the look isn't easy to re-create, it left us wondering if perms might make a comeback.

THE BEST FALL FASHION TRENDS TO TRY NOW

Nails at Erin Fetherston
In this age of color-blocked suits and oversize neon dresses, it's nice to see a detail that stands out by being subtle. Which is exactly why we loved the pale pink nail polish at Fetherston's show.
