This Week in Celebrity Fashion: Some Like It Odd

Maybe it's because we're coming up on Halloween but amidst the usual lovely ensembles, I was scared silly by some terrifying looks. And without anyone even offering candy.

Let's start things off on a positive note. It's been awhile since we've seen Camilla but she looks perfect, as always. The color of the dress is amazing and the draping is gorgeous. Love the sleek mane and sparkly heels. What other word except perfection.

Hello, princess! CZJ is really glamming it up here with a head to toe glow. I'm loving the high pony and the glittery gown is so lovely. Also, bonus points for getting hubby to match the tie (and hair).

You can call her Ms. Witherspoon, if you're nasty! The southern belle delivers an "I mean business" ensemble. I am loving the unexpected shape of the lace blouse and the bursts of color from the earrings.

I can't remember the last time I saw the fabulous Ms. Pfeiffer on a red carpet but she looks amazing. She's never been showy and this dress is a perfect example. Sleek, sophisticated, modern yet age appropriate, everything about this look is right.

How romantic is Uma's look? I really fell for the whole vibe, from the soft 'do to the ruffles on this dress. Because she's a tall drink of sparkling water, the pattern works as well.

Capes confuse me but I am absolutely loving Katherine's dramatic version. Maybe it's because of the oversize collar or leather trim but there's something fun about this because really, how can you take a cape seriously. Plus the leopard/leather booties kick it up a notch.

Yes, you probably can find a version of this dress at the local mall but that doesn't mean it's not pretty. I like the built in glitter (I mean the jeweled pieces) and the way she keeps everything else simple.

I'm a little on the fence about this look. I'm into strange patterns but I think this might be a little too busy for a red carpet. Plus, I hate those strappy sandals. Hate. So I guess I'm on the other side of that fence.

Now I know what Heidi would wear to a red carpet. There is nothing about this ensemble that I understand. The dress is plain and droopy. The white jacket? blouse? mosquito netting? is pointless. The tights are just the tragic icing on this misshapen, tasteless cake.

Are you kidding me with this? I know Kate has two difference colored eyes which has to be the only explanation for why she's wearing two pieces that completely don't match and are equally horrid. The top is like something Wilma Flintstone would rock and the bottom is just a brown skirt. If this is fashion forward, I want a rewind.

I really like Salma's casual look, which has an effortless Euro chic vibe. Great slouchy shirt, awesome necklace, everything about this doesn't try to hard.

Which is why the next look is so very, very hideous…

I tried to warn you but how can anyone really prepare for this kind of assault on their fashion sense? It's as if Salma flashed back to '89. Wouldn't you check your dress's transparency before going out? Because I'd hate to believe that this was intentional. Her curls are lovely but ombre doesn't work with this kind of volume and texture. It's just too much and that's why it has to be the look of the week. Because I can't unsee it.
