This Week in Celebrity Fashion: The Bold & The Beautiful

Some weeks, it's a parade of LBD and safe choices. Some weeks, our ladies take flight and present us some unusual choices. Whether you like them or hate them, let's be grateful that they're being creative.

Amber's entering some Angelina Jolie/Megan Fox sky high slit territory and it's great to have another member of the club. I am loving the platinum hair and razzle dazzle red combo. Keeping everything fresh and light, she gets to shine.

It's not easy to be both daring and interesting but Emma manages it yet again. This dress reminds me of peppermint candy and its optical illusion keeps your attention but doesn't distract from the girl.

Oh, Jules, when did you lose your sparkle? Did you somehow decide that being a mom and being a movie star are incompatible? First of all, it's hard not to notice that your face looks…extremely refreshed and girl, don't even try the whole "I just moisturize" routine. Secondly, other than the gleaming hair and great jewelry, this outfit makes me sad. And I think it would have made the wild, fun Julia sad too.

Is it a bow? Are they wings? I don't care, I love this dress. It's definitely over the top but Lucy pulls it off because the key to any dress looking hot is confidence. I could have done without the scary Little Shop of Horrors plants on the dress but I am over the moon about the over the shoulder. Plus, this is one of the few times I've actually thought that black tights were the right choice.

Michelle has this knack of doing a lot with a little. She knows how to work a simple look and is one of the few actresses who seems to know exactly what works for her. There is nothing wow about this dress yet head to toe, she looks fantastic.

Looks like someone forgot to get waxed this week. How else to explain wearing a lovely pink dress that seems to have sprouted hair in some unfortunate places? I get that it's supposed to be whimsical and fun but somehow it just comes across like a reject from a '60′s resort collection.

CZJ hasn't been seen much lately so when she finally does emerge, I expect fireworks. Unfortunately, this dress fizzles. Even though the purple and gold combo is pretty, I just expect more "movie star" from her.

Evan Rachel is obviously in a very leather place right now. After last week's skins show, she keeps it going with not only a leather dress but a zebraskin belt (slight overkill, so to speak). I'm liking it but I think the animal population could probably use a break.

What I like about Jaime's outfit is how the heels upend the whole look. We go from sweet and almost retro to edgy and Mad Max. Love it.

I usually don't include Pippa because I'm a little over the whole "Pippa and Kate, the two hottest sisters in the world" bandwagon but I couldn't resist this dress because I both liked and disliked it simultaneously. I'm not trying to get all Revolutionary War about this but there's something very elegant about the shape and pattern of this dress. At the same time, I think it's a little aging for her.
