Last year we predicted that neon hair was making a comeback and since then we've seen celebs like Lady Gaga, Drew Barrymore, and Nicki Minaj with dip-dyed hair (where only the ends are colored), but recently Lauren Conrad, of "The Hills" fame, took to her beauty blog to debut her new "tie-dyed" hair. Before dyeing, she asked her readers to vote on her new hairstyle. Once they approved she posted the results to her blog (as seen on the left) as well as a tutorial on how to get the look yourself. It's definitely a creative look and a lot of fun. Plus the colors she chose will wash out pretty quickly, so why not?

But leave it to the "Jersey Shore" to kill a trend. The fellow MTV reality stars both have been spotted copying Conrads look this week. Snooki opted for bleached streaks underneath dyed hot pink. Meanwhile, JWOWW attempted smiliar look with shades of pink, red, and orange. We're not sure if the "Jersey Shore" ladies actually dyed their hair or are using clip-in extensions, but we're just not loving the look as much as Lauren Conrad's.

What do you think of tie-dye hair? Do you think any of these MTV stars look good, or do you think the colored ends look tacky?
