Last night Tina Fey and Sheryl Crow attended the 2010 Matrix Awards in New York City in the same Dolce & Gabbana dress! The floral knee-length dresses were nearly identical, except Tina's had a cleavage baring V-neck and she added a cardigan over it. For many women this scenario would have been extremely awkward, but the two beautiful ladies carried themselves with class. When they approached the podium to accept awards honoring outstanding women in communications, they even joked about their matching attire.

"When I walked in, Tina Fey and I were wearing, um..." Crow said, pointing to Fey. The "30 Rock" star stood up so the audience could see her similar dress. "She was quick to say we will end up on the 'Who Wears It Best' list. I'm voting on Tina, being flat chested as I am, I feel certain she's gonna be the [winner]."

Tina Fey made light of the situation too, and complimented Crow when she spoke. "We are wearing a very similar dress. So if you want to see what this dress looks like on a ripped, surfer body..." she said gesturing to Crow, "or, you can wear it with a sweater!"

As for just how this funny faux pas occurred, D&G spokeswoman Brooke Pace said they most likely "reached into their closets and pulled out a version of the dress." She noted that luckily the dresses were slightly different, and that "this kind of thing happens all the time." Ladies, if this ever happens to you, take a lesson from Tina Fey and Sheryl Crow on how to handle a potentially embarrassing situation with style and grace. [Yahoo][US]
