Tinsel: Your Secret Ingredient for Shiny, Gorgeous Holiday Hair!

If you're like me when decorating your tree, you come out with more decorations stuck to you than to your branches. That's right: Battle scars from pointy pine, garlands stuck to your clothes, and tinsel in your hair. Well, apparently the last one's not so bad. Turns out hair tinsel is this year's hot holiday hair accessory.

We've spotted something shiny and we like it! Beyonce had silver tinsel in her hair at the Grammy's last February and what better time to bring it back than the holidays? She wore Bella Vita's Hair Glitz Strands in 3D Silver, but these sparkly threads come is all sorts of colors. You just tie them into your hair. You can even wash, blowdry, brush and curl them like you do the rest of your hair.

Tip: To avoid looking like you belong wrapped up under a tree, stick with a few strands of tinsel and don't tie them too close together. You want to have little hints of shimmer peeking out from under your own hair.
