Travel-Friendly Beauty

Shu It's the end of the summer, and I've got one weekend left to travel. Let's just say it's my last hurrah (for a while).

The good news? I'm an extremely efficient packer. But I refuse to skimp on my beauty products. Here are the TSA-approved (3 oz. or less) items I cram into my quart-sized bag before takeoff:

Shu Uemura Deluxe Cleansing Oils This extra gentle wash removes makeup and balances skin's moisture levels while it cleanses skin. A squirt of this stuff goes a long way. It's now available in a handy dandy, limited-edition set of three 1.7 ounce bottles.

Laura Mercier Flawless Face Kit Even when I go the sunglasses/lip gloss non-makeup route, I need my complexion to look even and smooth. The tinted moisturizer and concealer in this kit makes it quick and easy.

Kevyn Aucoin Beauty The Essential Eye Shadow Set Palette #2 and Benefit Badgal Kit From eyes to cheeks to lips--these two kits are all I need for a full face of makeup, soup to nuts. With a day-to-night shadow look, lip and cheek stain, lip balm, eyeliner, and mascara, these make me feel like a minimalist, but still produce a gorgeous look.

Ojon 5 Piece Shine and Protect Hair Ritual Kit Although I love this whole kit, for space reasons, I only make room for its shampoo, conditioner, and revitalizing mist. The ojon oil in this line repairs damage and makes hair shiny, but won't leave a dull residue.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Purse Perfume I love this tiny, spill-proof version of one of my favorite fragrances. Basically, it's a no-brainer.

Air travel can leave you dehydrated, pasty, and disheveled. Laura Mercier tells you how to deplane looking and feeling remarkably fresh.
