I always thought I was too short to wear maxi skirts but then I bought one and realized that wasn't at all true-They are actually extremely flattering. Easily one of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe, plus it sort of feels like you're wearing pajamas all day. Who can argue with that?

I definitely wouldn't consider myself the super adventurous type when it comes to my personal style, so when certain trends get really popular I tend to hide away in my leggings and black tunic and judge from a distance. For the most part it isn't that I think the trends are just god-awful - I actually admire most new trending styles when I see them on other people - but I always think to myself "I couldn't get away with that!" But now, as long as I'm staying true to myself and my style, I will give them a shot (in the dressing room, at least) and most of the time I end up loving it.
