Twilight Beauty: 4 Ways to Make Robert Pattinson Thirst for You

Sinister forces have us under their spell. In New Moon, Vampire Diaries, and True Blood, sultry vampires are seducing their victims...and we can't take our eyes off them. What makes these otherworldly characters so mesmerizing?

According to DuWop founder Cristina Bartolucci, who codeveloped a line of Twilight-inspired products, the key to conveying this sense of drama with your look is to appear innocent and provocative at the same time. We break down the steps to creating tantalizing effects that will tempt anyone in your path.

1) Moonlit Skin

Skin is a major point of visual focus in vampire dramas, and it's also key to achieving immortalesque beauty. You want a flawless, diamondy complexion that mimics the moon illuminating your face. Find out how to fix skin issues fast. Dot concealer over any redness, and then apply a sheer foundation that's a shade lighter than what you'd normally use. Match the bottle to your inner wrist (an area that's usually shielded from the sun) as a guide. Top off the foundation with a light dusting of loose powder that has a touch of iridescence. Skip the blush and bronzer, though, so your skin tone is perfectly even. "This will help magnify the fantastical, mystical effect," explains Bartolucci.

2) Ethereal Eyes

Emotion is conveyed in the eyes - just think of Bella's stare in Twilight. Kristen Stewart totally has this look down. Check out her style makeover.

There are two equally easy ways to create eyes that evoke the allure of a sexy siren from the dark side. One is to apply shadows that play tricks with the light, such as metallic blue or green. "Shimmer gives the illusion of movement, which attracts people's attention," says anthropologist David Givens, PhD, director of the Center for Nonverbal Studies, in Spokane.

Or surround your eyes with a luminous gray shadow, and then rim them with a kohl liner for an intense effect that's a bit more dangerous.

3) Bitten Lips

Plump, juicy red lips are incredibly appealing to biting creatures.

Dab a blood-color lip stain onto the centers of your lips, and use a fingertip to blot and smooth out the lines. "Don't put on too much," warns Bartolucci. "You want your skin to show through a little underneath to mimic a natural flushed effect." Nix chapped lips with these tips. Your lips should look like someone has literally sunk his teeth into your lips. Dig in, R.Pattz! Think you know everything about everyone's favorite vampire? Bet you don't know these 10 things.

4) Tousled Hair

Get disheveled waves that appear a little wild and tangled - as if you've been running through the forest.

Rub a styling cream (try Pantene Pro-V Curls Styling Milk, $6.49) through damp hair. Once dry, curl sections using a medium-size iron. Alternate between curling them in and under and flipping them out, so the strands go in opposite directions. "This creates an undone look, like you've just been on the move," says Kelly Kline, department head hairstylist for True Blood. "The curls are soft and romantic, but the fact that they're slightly mussed adds an unexpected aspect that's sexy and mysterious." Rake your fingers through your hair so it separates into piecey waves that fall over your shoulders.
