Uggs + Jimmy Choo = a collaboration we'll pass on

As much as we hate on Uggs, we understand in some cold weather areas, they might be a footwear necessity. But do people consider them attractive looking shoes? Someone must, because upscale shoe designer Jimmy Choo is currently working on a collaboration with the furry boot company!

Five styles of Jimmy Choo Ugg boots are set to launch in October and will range from $800-$1,100. Ouch! At that price, we doubt the majority of Ugg wearers will be buying a pair. Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon says, "Other than Jimmy Choo, UGG Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe." OK, so maybe she'll buy some. But who else would shell out that much for a fancy pair of Uggs?! [WWD]
