A sucker for seersucker-
These stripes are slimming, and the material dries easily.

There's been much discussion over the changing body of famed model Crystal Renn. While she used to be labeled as "plus-size" by the modeling industry, but she has lost some weight, and now her measurements come in somewhere between "plus size" and "straight size," a grey area we haven't really seen much before in the fashion world. In a recent interview she explained, "I had anorexia ultimately because someone else set the standard for me, and I wanted to follow it." (To watch the full video click here.) On her own terms, Renn has gained and lost some pounds over the years, but we agree with Renn's nugget of wisdom on ideal body size: "I think the most important thing that we all need to know is...it's about individual health. You cannot tell if someone is healthy, where they are mentally, from what's going on on the outside, because health is different for everybody at different sizes."

A healthy size, for Renn, sometimes means her weight and shape fluctuates, yet we think she's been looking pretty amazing these days. J.Crew apparently does too, as they have used her (not a typical "straight size" model) to show off their new swimsuits. Yay for diversity! New York Magazine got a preview of these images, which we're showing off here. Doesn't Renn look awesome and happy and gorgeous? We're psyched the fashion industry is moving towards highlighting and creating garments for different body types, even if they are taking baby steps.

Check out Renn's latest swimwear photos and some great ones of the her from the past.
