According to the US Open leaderboard, heading into Sunday's final round, Jim Furyk and Graeme McDowell share a tie for the lead with scores of 209 (-1). Jacobson is in third place with an overall 211 score (+1). Meanwhile, Westwood, Adams, Els, and Colsaerts are all tied for fourth place. Tiger Woods is part of a four-way tie for 14th place.
A report from USA Today discusses how Tiger had the chance to emerge as the tournament leader on Saturday. However, a dismal round 3 dropped him from sharing the lead spot to the 14th position. Tiger said of his woes on the course:
"I struggled on the greens today, quite a bit. They looked quick, but they putted slow. But they were firmer than they were yesterday. So it was a tough, tough feel for me to adjust to and it was amazing how all day I kept getting a half club. Just one of those days where I was right in between clubs on about every single shot. I just never quite had the right number."
Today's US Open final round can be seen on NBC affiliate station WSLS 10 in Roanoke. Additionally, NBC Sports is live streaming the finals online. The website lists coverage from 4 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. EST with Dan Hicks, Johnny Miller, and Gary Kock among the personalities and commentators covering the action.
