Sarah Cox, straight-A student and book lover, was ten years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and 13-years-old when she beat it. Her father Mark Cox, a musician and professor and at Central Michigan University, photographed her three-year journey from diagnosis to remission in a new photo series called Strong (Check out his Kickstarter page where he's raising funds for the series). "I wanted to show the beauty of Sarah, not the ugliness of cancer," Cox told Yahoo! Shine. Here are some of Sarah's most revealing moments. -By Elise Sole.
