How to Eat Chili's Guilt Free

Chili's is known for its lively atmosphere, reliable service and of course, modern American cuisine. But having a blast doesn't mean your belt needs to burst. With the recent introduction of Chili's Lighter Choices menu, ordering something savory (but totally calorie-savvy) has never been easier. Here are a few of my RD-approved faves.

* Sweet and Spicy Chicken: This generous serving of juicy grilled chicken (pictured above) is topped with a habanero sweet orange glaze on a bed of onions and peppers. Served with rice and steamed broccoli, this dish comes in at 580 totally-worth-it-calories.

* Grilled Chicken Salad: For a more reasonable 430 calories, enjoy this large salad with the works: grilled chicken, tomatoes, black beans, corn relish and some cheese, too. Top it off with the honey-lime vinaigrette for a flavorful kick.

* 6 oz. Classic Sirloin: TIf you're in the mood for steak, this order is a no-brainer. The 100 percent USDA choice sirloin has a spicy asada rub and is served alongside pico de gallo and fresh steamed broccoli is a hit for an impressively low 250 calories!

* Grilled Salmon: This savory salmon is perfectly seasoned and grilled and served up with a side of rice and steamed broccoli for 580 calories. To shave an extra 100 calories off this dish, skip the rice and ask for extra broccoli instead!
