Fast Fixes to Get Perfectly-white Teeth

Discolored or yellowing teeth can take away from the beauty of your smile. Make sure you're sticking with an oral care regimen that includes teeth whitening products. You can have sparkling white teeth with a few lifestyle changes, and also by using products designed to brighten that smile quickly without damaging your teeth. Whether you're getting ready for a big date or just want to look your best for a busy day ahead, here are a few fast fixes to perfectly-white teeth:

Brush thoroughly with a whitening toothpaste. You can get rid of new stains and discoloration with a thorough tooth-brushing session. Use a whitening toothpaste that contains ingredients to brighten your teeth without damaging the surface of the tooth. For even better results, use an electric toothbrush or toothbrush head designed specifically for whitening the teeth. Ideally, you will want to brush your teeth after every meal. This routine not only gets rid of food and plaque stuck around your teeth, but will also freshen up your breath and whiten your teeth gradually.

Use a whitening mouth rinse. Try something like NOW! Mouthrinse for an instantly whiter smile. This mouth rinse contains Blueverite, a special formula that creates the optical effect of whiter teeth. Use this daily rinse to get rid of surface stains and any time when your smile needs a boost.

Wear red lipstick. Skip the flesh-toned colors and nude hues in favor of bright red lipstick. Cherry red and bright red lipstick with blue undertones will make your teeth look that much whiter. Avoid orange and yellow undertones that tend to accentuate teeth stains and make your teeth appear yellow. If you have slightly yellow teeth, it's also a good idea to avoid frosted shades or pale colors that can make your teeth appear dull.

Scrub away stains with strawberries. Strawberries contain a high concentration of folic acid, which is a great cleanser for the teeth. Include strawberries in your daily diet for a sweet way to brighten teeth and get healthy antioxidants, too.

Buff stains with baking soda. If you have coffee, chocolate, or wine stains on your teeth, try scrubbing away those surface stains with a mixture of equal parts of baking soda and water. Baking soda can help to get rid of surface stains that just won't disappear when you brush using regular toothpaste.
