First Look: Lindsay Lohan as Herself on 'Glee'

Images from Lindsay Lohan's upcoming episode of Glee have hit the web. Will she sink or swim?

Remember back in March when it was announced that Lindsay Lohan would be guest starring on Glee as herself? Well, her episode, "Props/Nationals," is now only a week away from its air date-where does the time go?-so guess what that means? That's right: Pictures! And not just random on-set pictures-images from the special two-hour episode itself. In addition to the image featured above, we've also gotten a peek at Lindsay here:

And here, with fellow guest star Rex Lee (who I will always think of as Mr. Wolfe on Suburgatory):

What's going on here? We're not really sure, but we do know that these images are from this season's Nationals. Attempting to re-seize their title after last season's upset, the vocal superstars of McKinley High will be going up against their nemesis, Vocal Adrenaline, before a panel of judges that includes LiLo, Rex, and (oddly) Perez Hilton. The first image is clearly from the competition itself, while the other two appear to be a backstage moment.

Dare I say it? She looks good! Thank heavens she stopped bleaching her hair into oblivion; she's also looking loads healthier than she did during her SNL hosting gig two months ago. Unfortunately, though, rumor has it that LiLo was a holy terror on set, arriving hours late and with an "I don't want to be here" attitude to boot. Her rep, however, has shot the rumors down, saying that it's "utter B.S." and "a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay."

So who do we believe? To be honest, I'm not really sure. I'd like to think that it's just unfounded Lindsay-bashing, mostly because Lindsay does seem to be making an effort to get back in the saddle and behave herself; but at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be true after all. Who knows. I still may not think that she's really all that talented, and I may remain unconvinced that she's a good choice to play Liz Taylor (even if it is on Lifetime), but I'd like to believe that she's actually turning her life around for good this time. One thing's for sure: I'm curious to see how her appearance on a scripted show is received in comparison to the reaction to her SNL episode.

"Props/Nationals" will air on Tuesday, May 15 at 8pm on FOX. Be sure to budget two hours for it if you're planning on watching it-it's going to be a doozy!
