Since her world debut at the Royal Wedding last spring, Pippa Middleton has become almost as well known for her partying antics as she is for her shapely behind. But now she's turning her hand to a different kind of partying-the chi-chi type of partying most of us like to refer to as "entertaining." And hey, look! She wrote a book about it!

The cover art for Pippa's party planning book, Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, has just been released by Viking Press. Take a peek at the front cover above. Pretty, isn't it? Although we don't know what the actual contents of the book will be like yet, if the cover is anything to go by, it looks like Pippa might be ready to give Martha Stewart a run for her money. For the curious, here's the back cover, too:

There's been some debate about whether Pippa is actually qualified to write a party-planning book, or if she's just doing it to ride the coattails of her royal sister. You know what, though? I don't really have a problem with it. After she graduated from university (she studied English Lit at the University of Edinburgh), Pippa worked first for a PR firm promoting luxury products, and later for the UK company Table Talk as an organizer and manager of corporate events and parties. I can't think of anyone better equipped to write a book about entertaining than a former events manager. Also, her current job involves editing the web magazine component of her parents' company, Party Pieces; this, combined with her English Lit degree and the fact that we know she didn't use a ghost writer means that presumably, she knows how to write. In a world full of terrible celebrity memoirs, that's a comforting thought.

Celebrate, which weighs in at 400 pages, will be released on October 30 for a retail price of $50. Will it be the ultimate party planning book, or the ultimate coffee table book? We'll find out in a couple of months!
